Sora and Kairi from Kingdom Hearts. They live on Destiny Island with a Riku and a few others. Riku and Sora compete for Kairis attention. The three of them build a raft to explore other worlds and the night before they were about to leave, they were attacked by the Heartless. Sora finds Kairi in their secret place. A huge gust of wind sends Kairi flying to sora and right as he was about to catch her, she vanishes and her heart went into his body. Riku shows hostility to Sora over a few things and tries to keep him away from her. Ansem reveals that Sora has Kairi's heart (Which is why Sora would have flashbacks and visions of her throughout his journey to find Kairi) and Sora sacrafices himself and turns into a heartless shadow. Kairi is awakened and runs to him but he vanishes into light when she touched him. Kairi eventually brings Sora back from the darkness. Kairi shows concern for finding Riku and Sora said to stay put so she doesnt get hurt and since their hearts were one at one point, they will always be together. Kairi then gives her lucky charm to him. Later Sora was fighting Ansem and at the end he was too late getting to Kairi cause then the world was breaking apart. Sora promised to find Kairi when he found Riku and King Mickey. (Pretty much summed up KH1)
I think I really liked this couple because I used to 1- have a crush on Sora and 2- imagine me being Kairi when I was younger. It's obviously fiction because although it may feel like worlds falling apart and crazy adventures, its fake. They're story from the beginning is just beautiful. Im so excited for KH3.
